For a state that lost two congressional districts, it should be advocating for mothers not abortion.

New York is attempting to pass a bill, that punishes those who don't worship abortion. It has some pretty liberal laws on it and abortion is common, especially in New York City. Abortion advocates wanted more. Abortion being legal is not enough, those who wish nothing to do with abortion will be discriminated against.

“State regulators, such as the state health department or state insurance department, could say, ‘We cannot give you that license to operate’ or ‘We cannot give you that funding’ because our pro-life mission means we’re discriminating against a woman’s fundamental right to an abortion,” Gallagher said.
“Governor Cuomo vociferously declared that women’s equality, safety and reproductive rights will be a priority for New York state in 2013,” Andrea Miller, president of NARAL Pro-Choice New York, confirmed in a press release. Miller said the last election results showed New Yorkers recognized that without a right to abortion a woman “cannot participate fully in society.”

Is NARAL stating that we shouldn't protect mothers, or that being a mother, a woman cannot participate fully in society or seen as a equal under the law?

How did this become feminism? The early feminists were clearly pro-life.

Are there men making the claim that they cannot fully participate in society because they're a father. Yet, those who define themselves as feminists make such an outrageous argument that I'm less of a citizen because I'm a female parent.
